| Assessment | The section that evaluates a project's readiness levels. |
| BMC — Business Model Canvas | A nine-block layout of a business. |
| BRL — Business Readiness Level | Business maturity. |
| Chaos map | An industry landscape map: the players in a field, grouped by category, each logo clickable. |
| CIDR | Notation for an IP address range, used in IP whitelisting. |
| Company / Team | The two group types. A company uses your public corporate information; a team does not. |
| Diamond strategy | A competitive positioning analysis view. |
| GRL — Gate Readiness Level | Progress against stage-gate criteria. |
| Idea Arena | Tournament-bracket comparison of ideations. |
| Ideation | Both the section, and an individual business idea within it. |
| Issue persona | A generated stakeholder for a theme, which can be interviewed individually or in groups. |
| KPI | Key performance indicators, laid out as a mandala chart. |
| MRL — Market Readiness Level | Market maturity for the offering. |
| ORL — Organization Readiness Level | Whether the organisation can execute. |
| OTP — One-time password | A code emailed at registration and, optionally, at every sign-in. |
| PEST | Political, economic, social and technological environment analysis. |
| Pictograph chart | A visual diagram of how a business works. |
| Simulator | An interactive HTML artefact generated from a chat, in which the recipient can adjust the assumptions. |
| SRL — Social Readiness Level | Societal acceptance and readiness. |
| SWOT | Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. |
| Synthesise | In multi-persona chat, asking the group to reach a single unified position rather than parallel opinions. |
| TRL — Technology Readiness Level | Technical maturity. |
| Web presentation | A self-contained HTML presentation generated from a chat. |
| Whitelist | The list of permitted email domains, and optionally IP ranges, from which BIIM can be accessed. |
