Promoting research to ideation
Four research features hand off directly to ideation, carrying their context across. This is usually a better start than typing keywords, because the idea arrives already grounded in something you have checked.
| Source | How it carries across |
|---|---|
| Research chat | The conversation's full context moves with it — see Research Chat. |
| Deep research | The whole investigation moves with it — see Deep Research. |
| Idea board | The selected region, including connector relationships — see Idea Board. |
| Issue persona | The interview conversation — see Issue Persona. |
From a research chat or deep research

Open the item and promote it to ideation. The conversation's context moves across with it.
From an idea board

Select the region of the board you want, then generate business ideas from it. Connector relationships are taken into account, so the structure you built by hand carries meaning — not just the text inside the boxes.
From a persona conversation
Interview a persona until a real problem surfaces, then use Add to business idea to turn the conversation, or specific messages within it, into an ideation. Building from a problem someone actually described beats building from a keyword.
