Common questions and their answers.
Access and accounts
Registration requires a whitelisted email domain and, where IP restriction is enabled, a permitted IP address. Contact BIRD INITIATIVE to have your domain or network range added. See Create an Account.
Ten consecutive failed sign-in attempts lock the account for up to 15 minutes. Wait for the countdown to finish, or reset your password instead — but note that password reset carries the same limit.
The invitee's email domain must also be whitelisted. See Invite Members.
If your organisation uses IP restriction, you will be blocked from home, from a cafe, or on mobile data unless you are connected to your corporate VPN.
Generating
Use Balanced for most work. Use Instant or Quick when you want a fast structural answer and sourcing does not matter. Use In-depth or Comprehensive when the answer needs to be right and citable — market figures, competitive facts, anything going into a document others will rely on. See Research Chat.
You are working in a company group, which feeds your public corporate information into every generation. Create a team group instead. See Create a Group.
Japanese font support covers Yu Mincho, Noto Serif JP and Noto Sans JP. If your deck renders differently, check that the application opening it has those fonts installed.
Data and files
No — Update and erase all data discards every generated view. Use Update as new to keep the original with its views intact, or Keep current version to apply nothing. See Managing Ideations.
Directly edited figures do not update the premise text, and the edit cannot be undone. Regenerate with an instruction instead, or edit the idea itself. See Ideation Analysis.
No. Deleting a chat, board, summary note, ideation or assessment permanently deletes the files uploaded inside it. Files you need beyond a single item should be uploaded to file management as well. See Files and AI Context.
Roles and sharing
No. Guests are view-only. Change the role to member. See Roles and Permissions.
Only if the owner has enabled it for them. Every link created is logged in the owner's public sharing audit. See Public Sharing and Group Administration.
Trial, data and security
All features of BIIM Cloud for Business are available during a time-limited free trial. Contact us for details.
If no contract is signed within a set period after the trial ends, saved data is deleted. The same applies after cancellation. If you continue on a contract, your account and data carry over unchanged.
The generative AI engine runs in opt-out configuration — information is read only, not used for training. Generated and uploaded data is encrypted at rest. Access is controlled by email domain whitelisting, optional IP restriction with CIDR support (such as
203.0.113.0/24), and one-time passwords.Use the enquiry form in Settings → Inquiry. See Settings.
